Believers are challenged to move beyond man-made traditions and surface-level faith into a deep, spiritual relationships with God through the Holy Spirit, recognizing and human wisdom can obstruct true intimacy with Him. True victory, discernment, and freedom in spiritual battles are found only in knowing God spiritually as we were created to, through the indwelling and leading of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is not an optional addition to faith but God's chosen companion who invites believers into a deep, relational communion marked by fellowship, partnership, and intimacy. Knowing and walking with the spirit is essential for understanding God, growing in Christ, and living with guidance, power, and transformed relationships.

The Holy Spirit is the personal presence of God who lives in believers, guiding them into truth, empowering them to live transformed lives, and bringing freedom, life, and true relationship with God.  Believers are called to move beyond fear, legalism, and mere knowledge, learning instead to trust and walk with the Spirit so faith is lived and experienced rather than reduced to religious activity.

The Holy Spirit is fully God - Eternal, present everywhere, all-knowing, all-powerful, holy and true-active from creation through Jesus' Life, death, and resurrection, and now indwelling every believer as the mark of salvation and adoption into God's family.  Like new wine needs fresh wineskins, believers and churches must let God soften and renew them so they can keep growing, hearing His voice, and experiencing His presence instead of clinging rigidly to old patterns or past experiences.

Christmas Celebrates Jesus as God's greatest gift - promised long in advance, humbly delivered, and joyfully announced - showing that God keeps His promises in unexpected ways.  It calls us to respond like the shepherds: to seek Jesus wholeheartedly, let go of what holds us back, and share what God has done out of love and joy rather than obligation.

God consistently works through long sessions of waiting, shaping people and circumstances so His purposes unfold at the perfect moment. Even when life feels delayed, difficult, or uncertain, His timing is precise, His promises hold firm, and His work ultimately leads to renewal, joy, and celebration.

Luke's Gospel is concluded by Jesus leading His disciples to the Mount of Olives, where He blesses them and ascends to the Father. Luke's story begins in the temple and ends in the temple, showing that God's plan has always moved toward worship, redemption, and restored relationship.
